The Chaze Fit Performance Cap is a structured unisex sports cap, made from premium cotton drill fabric. It solves the specific problem Indian gym-goers face when training outdoors: standard fashion caps lose their shape within weeks of sweat exposure, while UV-focused running hats look out of place at the gym or in everyday wear. The Performance Cap is built for both - structural enough for the squat rack, casual enough for post-workout errands.
Cotton drill is a tightly-woven 2-over-1 twill fabric - the same weave used in high-quality workwear and military caps. It's 35–40% denser than standard cap cotton, which means it holds the six-panel structured shape through sweat, rain, and repeated washing without the brim curling or the crown collapsing.
Why cotton drill outperforms standard cap fabrics in Indian conditions
Most sports caps at ₹299–₹499 use plain-weave cotton or synthetic mesh that softens and loses structure after 8–10 washes. Cotton drill is different: the twill weave creates diagonal ribbing in the fabric that resists deformation. After 30 washes at 30°C, the Performance Cap's crown retains 90%+ of its original structure. The brim - reinforced with a PE plastic stiffener - does not curl regardless of how the cap is stored or washed.

Trade-offs to know: Cotton drill is not quick-dry - in heavy rain or intense sweat, the cap will feel damp and takes 2–3 hours to fully air dry. For wet-weather or extreme-sweat activities, a technical polyester cap would be more appropriate. Also, this is a structured cap - if you prefer a soft, unstructured "dad hat" silhouette, this isn't that.

Care - keeping cotton drill structured for years

Hand wash preferred - machine wash on gentle cycle (30°C) is acceptable; avoid high-spin as it can temporarily distort the structured crown
