Introducing Chaze Fit: India's Performance Sportswear Brand, Built From A Real Problem
Mumbai, India — Chaze Fit, a new D2C performance sportswear brand, has officially launched in India. Founded by Ankit Mange, the brand builds gym wear, hydration products, and accessories specifically engineered for Indian heat, humidity, and daily training conditions - not adapted from international specifications built for cooler, drier climates.
Why Chaze Fit Exists
The idea started on a Mumbai-Delhi flight, wearing a pair of slim-fit joggers that felt fine standing but became uncomfortable within 90 minutes of sitting. That single failure - a fit engineered for the wrong posture - led to 18 months of testing gym wear across every category: vests that turned see-through under gym lighting, water bottles that went warm in 20 minutes, headbands that saturated and stopped working exactly when needed most.
Every one of those specific failures became a specification. Chaze Fit was built to fix them - not as a lifestyle brand chasing a look, but as a specification-first sportswear company solving problems that international and budget domestic brands both leave unaddressed for the Indian market.
What Chaze Fit Makes
The current range spans gym apparel (vests, dri-fit t-shirts, shorts, terry sweatpants, bomber jackets, polos), hydration (aluminium sippers, insulated steel tumblers, laser-engraved bottles), and accessories (headbands, caps, gym bags, arm sleeves, enamel pins). Every product page states the actual fabric GSM, testing conditions, and specific findings behind the specification - not generic marketing adjectives.
Built And Tested In Indian Conditions
Chaze Fit's testing methodology is deliberately unglamorous: real gym sessions in non-AC Mumbai gyms at 28-36°C, real wash cycles counted rather than estimated, and real comparison data against budget and premium alternatives. The 260 GSM terry sweatpants were tested across 12 Indian travel routes. The Grip Flex headband was tested across 60 non-AC gym sessions. The Steel Edge tumbler was tested at 30°C ambient, not a cooler lab benchmark.
Direct-To-Consumer, By Design
Chaze Fit sells exclusively through chazefit.com, without marketplace commissions built into pricing. This keeps products like the ₹499 Flex Dry gym vest and ₹649 Hydro Max sipper priced closer to their actual cost of production than they would be on a marketplace platform.
